The Foos really have the show down. I was reading an interview with Dave and he was talking about how when they played the first Bridge School it inspired them to try more things acoustic. They're a great band with a great front man and I've been a fan since the beginning. I saw their very first tour (before their first record even came out) and was blown away.

i went to saturday's bridge school show just to see my fave fave band ever, the Foo. this was my 7th time seeing them. i saw both acoustic shows when they stopped in berkeley a few months ago. even tho they only played for half an hour, it was a stellar performance. and unlike the berkeley shows, i wasn't forced to sit in a chair the whole time. it was great to be able to stand and rock out. i also like Death Cab and was miffed that they didn't release a schedule beforehand so i arrived in the middle of their set. not everyone has time or wants to attend for the entire 9 hours. i've been an avid concert goer for some 15 years and know that if i don't like an artist's studio work, i probably won't enjoy them live.
